If EV's are so wonderful why do they need Government subsidies to manufacture them plus there is no tax on charging them compared to heavy taxes on petrol which is providing another Government subsidy. Remove all Government subsidies on everything including electricity generation and remove tax on petrol and let the free market and consumers dictate everything otherwise Government debt and inflation will keep getting out of hand.

  2. There is still big demand for ICE vehicles which some manufacturers are meeting before moving to electric. Many of them will merge with companies like Toyota, Volkswagen and Stellantis. America is subsidising local electric car manufacturing so many companies will avoid the US market altogether and push for subsidies in their own regions.

  3. EV manufacturers outside of the US might get subsidies to manufacture in their own countries and then export cars to the US at competitive prices.
