@kollatherals_alt As a bisexual male, I'm fine with defending the people you call homophobic, and I'm fine with the rainbow flag being illegal. This is because there is no aggression against gay people, just the flag. Your sexuality doesn't make you a minority, it's just a matter of personal preference. You can fit in with everyone else if you choose to. Stop broadcasting your sexuality and you'll be fine.

@kollatherals_alt Except it's not. You don't have to make your sexuality public, keep it private and you're fine. The reason there are lgbtq+ free zones being declared is because these people are not being decent.

@kollatherals_alt You don't see straight-free zones because straight people don't organize marches, nor do they have a flag. An LGBTQRSTUV free zone is an area where the rainbow flag and marches are prohibited. Gay people are not prohibited. So no, it isn't the same, and your comparison is a lie.

Walk the streets waving a rainbow flag and they will be right to be upset with you for being indecent.

@Maksie0 No, it isn't reductive. If you're reducing these people to their sexuality, THAT is reductive. I reject the acronym because as a bisexual male, I don't want to be lumped in with transgenders or people that wave their sexuality on a flag. If you want war, then march under a flag. If you want peace, keep your sexual orientation private and don't make it a bigger deal than it actually is. So long as you're asking for conflict, you're gonna get it, and you won't be the victim. You're the aggressor.

@Maksie0 Being openly gay is asking for conflict, because that means you're overstepping social boundaries with the vast majority of people you interact with. Straight people hide their sexual activity from the rest of the world, generally speaking, gay people can do the same.

Being gay is a sexual orientation, and because your sexual orientation has nothing to do with the vast majority of people you interact with, the vast majority of people you interact with shouldn't have to know. If I have to know your sexual orientation when I'm not interested in you, I'm probably going to hate you. Stop reminding me about your sexuality and just behave like a normal person.
