That is kinda an absurd take, using acids and retinols it's common knowledge you avoid UV exposure. They aren't even for daily use most of the time either, or are dosed accordingly so consistent use overtime you get benefit instead of a strong treatment. The acids don't burn away layers of skin but loosen the dead skin layer on the face and stimulate collagen and clean out pores and so on. If it's peeling off layers of actual alive skin then it's an actual acid treatment not skin care. Acids and retinols are some of the best products there are for the skin. And a single TCA peel treatment can increase your skins collagen production for 6 months.

Yup poison on the face or white paint. The absurdity of dermatologists to recommend daily use beyond outdoor activities completely reduces their credibility. I would expect they are being paid by a skincare lobbying group.

They all leave a disgusting after feel too. I feel like dermatologists are being paid off to promote sunscreen. It's absurd to recommend it for daily use when you are just doing day to day stuff and not doing any outdoor activities.

Diet like from cultural diets can lead to cancer "running in the family." A diet low in iodine and selenium can up your cancer risk significantly because those two minerals are needed for a anti cancer gene in the body to be active. Just taking them can reduce ones cancer risk by something crazy like 50-70%.

You've never had one of those melanin stimulating hormone prescriptions yet? I thought they've been out for awhile. People buy melanotan 2 for tanning also since that doesn't require a prescription and exposes you to less UV since you tan extremely fast.

Is this video for real? It's completely understandable why lawns are common. Families. You know kids playing on the lawn not just on a patch of dirt/rocks. Take a moment and consider how your childhood would have been. Most could say the lawn was a big part of having fun when you were growing up. That alone makes it worth it. Lawns aren't a water issue. Agriculture is the one wasting all the water, our lawns use an insignificant amount. That's a fact. If it is in the extreme las vegas it is everywhere else. It's absurd to take issue with the lawn.

Skin cancer is a far cry from most other cancers. There is literally a cream you can buy for 150 dollars that you put on everyday for a few weeks that cures skin cancer now. It's made from a chemical found in eggplant.

@southcoastinventors6583 It's also how skin damage is reversed, just like how light damages the skin it also reverses damage with lasers and light based treatments. What an irony right?

lmao it's 2023 and darwinian evolution still isn't a functional nor worked out theory. It's almost all speculation and conjecture across the board. It doesn't even have a primary mechanism and the fossil record extensively points the opposite direction of what an evolutionary outcome would produce. Evolutionary theory is the flat earth of modern science.

The take away is many sunscreen actives are inherently toxic and should be avoided so it's absurd for the average person to put it on their face daily when they aren't doing activities outside. Yet dermatologists are saying put it on everyday which is an absurd narrative. Put it on when spending time in thee sun, not for day to day walking to the car and going to work. Just ridiculous to put that garbage on your face for such limited UV exposure.
