I mean the black guy is clearly still at fault and the cop was doing his job and did the right thing pushing him away. The black guy did not have his credentials out. You can't just walk out past blocked off zones without it. The cop is at fault for lying but the black guy still clearly was at fault. And you can't blame the cop for not knowing who he was, he is there to do his job, doesn't need to be a fan of the sport.

@argeliscolon9318 You clearly don't understand the situation. The cop is security to "secure" the restricted area. He isn't security for the team or staff in the common sense, he isn't a body guard. This shouldn't be hard to grasp. This is a government worker, not private security detail. He is there to secure the area as a cop. From my understanding the state is required to do so because of the number of people and aren't hired privately because he is still wearing his uniform.

He's just doing his job. Why should he know who the guy was. The Black guy should have had his credentials already out, it's clearly still his fault. But the cop is also at fault for lying. Blows my mind how so many idiots on here can't realize the Black guy is still at fault.

What? You don't ask when someone is entering a restricted area without ID present, you secure the area. The Black guy was in the wrong and lucky he never got tackled by the cop doing his job. Next time he'll learn to have ID ready.

Why? He literally did exactly what he was hired to do and is in no way at fault in that encounter. He is at fault for lying after but nothing he did on site in the video shows him at fault.

Black guy was entering a restricted area without ID ready. He deserved to be dog piled. The video shows the cop was completely in the right and doing his job protecting the team and actually has a spine. He is exactly the kind of person anyone would want. You can't fault him for not being a fan and knowing anyone by face. Security is security. Lying after the fact he is in the wrong for. But I assume there was a reason because it doesn't even make any sense to make up the lie there was no reason to.

Shock journalism. The video actually shows the cop was correct and doing his job securing the area when the Black guy was entering a restricted zone without ID displayed. The black man is lucky he never got tackled by security.
