  1. This has got to be trolling idiots for cash. Blue light isn't UV light. The fact blue light keeps you awake is not news it's been known forever. Calling blue light "harmful" is ridiculous. Almost every light gives off blue light. If it was actually blocking the blue light the color on the screen would be completely different it would be like a amber sheet of plastic and look ridiculous. Turning down the intensity of the backlight will naturally reduce the "blue" light 85% because it's reducing ALL the light by that amount. The human eye views light on a logarithmic fashion. Meaning at a certian point the intensity of light has to be brightened magnitudes higher for the human eye to view it as a increase in brightness. So dimming the screen significantly cuts the light output despite what our human eye tells us. That's why cutting the brightness increases the battery life so much. This is a trolling and a scam for idiots.
