  1. The parents should be charged and put in jail. I doubt he was medically fit to even be going to school 5 months after a heart transplant.

  2. They have medication to prevent that. It was probably too much stress and clearly too soon after a heart transplant to force school on the kid. You'd think most people would keep the kid at how for 8 months to a year. Open heart surgery is serious stuff far less a heart transplant.

  3. Canada is September too. But in the USA some start in August but their summer holidays then start earlier in the start of June. So I think they get more vacation time. But it's still nicer to have August off I think.

  4. It was probably the parents fault in the first place forcing him to go to school so soon after such a major surgery. It doesn't get much bigger than a heart transplant for the most part. Blows my mind how only 5 months later they made him go to school. 8 months to a year is what you'd think a sane parent would wait. God forbid the child be held back a year. How does that help now...
