Brittany when she was going downhill blew away something like 450 million or something crazy in a matter of a few years being left with only 50 million when the conservatorship started. She was being abused, manipulated and extorted at every turn I assume to be loosing money that fast. So even if the father is taking money which he deserves anyways running her finances, without him she would have nothing a long time ago and likely dead in a ditch as we've seen the result of many other famous people after hitting rock bottom with no one there to help them.
