  1. Thomas here in Canada only school buses get canceled at -40C or lower, school is still on lol. (although many kids don't go anyways and aren't punished since teachers have already so many students missing they have to do catch up regardless)

  3. Last year in Vegas at this time you could literally wear shorts and a t-shirt during the day it was not even cool it was actually warm but at night it was cool and you needed a jacket. Crazy weather.

I mean that's going to happen regardless in winter areas, factor in the millions of population and that's probably a average number, and they were probably all drunks or from accidents like broken down car with no help. Things that normally would cause such deaths from the cold anyways in the winter.
