  1. Never touched on how they are one of the most dangerous toxic substances due to their shape. The body can't get rid of them and they just keep piercing cells and destroying them due to the difference in osmotic pressure. If they are widely used ignoring their dangers we could very quickly start seeing the new biggest environmental threat to humanity and the planet. Nano materials aren't exactly materials that can be given little thought when put into real world applications with humans around. We are likely already poisoning ourselves with nano sized titanium dioxide and other compounds just wait till the structurally toxic compounds like nanotubes show up. This is like the DDT and leaded gas of the 20th century retardation but potentially a million times worse.
