Well there sure was forced diversity. If they wanted to be realistic they would have had the main actor not be Black but Asian as he is supposed to have been under cover at the start at said Asian country. So the whole thing is kinda ridiculous. Far less the robot child supposed to be base on Black characters mixed baby with the Asian woman's babys' DNA yet it looks total Asian. How did that absurdity get past the storyboard? Yet they managed to force diversity with a famous Japanese actor as a lead for one of the robots in south east asia!!! ROFL. The double standard is so ridiculous in the casting. And of course evil American general and commander both have to be White! Ya movie totally isn't woke garbage sure... Lets not forget Blacks make up around 10% of the USA's population, so statistically that makes a Black lead even more absurd in movie universe, and as a casting choice for the market being a US movie.

I can't believe we even got a full budget motion picture released in theaters not a direct to dvd, for a canceled tv show to wrap it up which is extremely rare far less only a 1 season canceled show. If it was that popular to do a full motion picture release for a 1 season tv show you'd think they would pick it up at a different network.... but no that would make too much sense.

  30. Really? I watched it too and was pretty disappointed. I thought it was quite underwhelming and quite a wasted premise and waste of Yeohs talents. The writing was largely non-nonsensical and incoherent. I'm baffled at how anyone can be recommending it far less calling it fantastic. Maybe it's because I haven't watched the other trash movies out there like the ones you mentioned to lower my standards.

I just found out about Person of Interest tv series, sounds like it might be good. I forgot about Counterstance or Counter something 2 season tv show where reality split into two, I thought that was a pretty good one.
