@rottensquid Life is not nonsensical and absurd. The very fact the universe is inherently coherent and we exist attests to there being a God and purpose to all of our existence. The multiverse is and always has been a terrible scientific theory. It was a joke for all of its existence till only recently when the big bang theory which is wholly Christian in concept and origin was solidified in 2009. After nearly half a century of being contested by Atheist astrophysicists because of it's Christian implications. This forced naturalists into a corner going back to the terrible multiverse theory which is nonsensical because rationality does not come from irrationality even with infinite probability. The multiverse is still bound by the space time theorems and requires a full start, big bang. Thus first cause aka God. The big question is which God. Well only the Christian God gives a big bang universe, and is a personal God which is what is required for a fine tuned universe. The purpose of life is knowing God. Science has established the whole of the universe was required just so one planet could come into existence and sustain life. Your life has purpose and it's to know Jesus.
