  1. actually it is more like a deep golden tan which is the goal. but it takes a very long time unless you have olive skin tone. if white people tan too much outside or in tanning bed with bad lotion they get a ugly brown tan instead of a beautiful golden brown tan. it is just many indians are already fairly dark. people just want to look the best they can, some look better with more color and some have too much color and look prettier going lighter. some are blessed with just beatiful skin.
