It's been theorized of it's issues for last 5+ years same with metformin which inhibits the utilization of thiamine literally the most important nutrient in the body the gatekeeper of virtually every biological process.

Vitamin C just 1 gram a day was shown to reduce most persistent organic pollutants 10-30% in the body in the two month study. So there is great value to that since it's so easy simple and cheap.

@serratusx Long time myth, it prevents stone formation harvard research shows, and one study even showed it dissolves stones. It helps keep calcium in solution fyi just to point out how nonsense the argument is.

@ "Multiple studies, including those conducted by Harvard, have found no link between vitamin C intake and an increased risk of kidney stones. In fact, individuals with higher vitamin C intake had a reduced risk of developing stones (Simon and Hudes, 1999)."

@serratusx That's a long time myth, vitamin C actually prevents kidney stones Harvard research showed and others, and one study even showed vitamin C dissolves kidney stones. Vitamin C helps keep calcium in solution fyi.

It other words it's shocking anyone is taking either of these especially if they are looking at the science. It's like the people that keep pushing NAD precursors like all the niacin compounds that greatly increase TMAO which can cause serious cardio issues...

Despite all you've done, something as simple? as this could very well be by far the most significant and impactful thing you've done to save lives at least in the immediate. It's crazy this never existed before you did it with all the mri scans being done and all that data not being utilized and gone over fully for other issues. This could easily save a lot of lives. Now we just need cheap annual mri's anyone can get.

@ There is a difference between a study and a full on review for starters and secondly this isn't like one study either way we have over half a dozen showing it doesn't big difference. Including one in 2018 where large intravenous dosages were even done. And furthermore the action of vitamin C dissolving and wanting to keep calcium solvent is counter to the whole premise... Third just a reminder a newer study doesn't magically mean anything in and of itself.

@ Wow in a whole week they formed... You believe that? Ask Grok 3 for the data, it's not news that vit C causing kidney stones is a myth, it's been called out for decades now as nonsense.
