What is make believe? Jesus is literally one of the most documented figures of his time. The literal dating system was named after him. Jesus existing isn't even a contested only his resurrection is. This may not be the exact site, it's just a memorial.

"When your fat friend wants to join."

@John Hazenhousen It's a quite well known historical fact. Only Caesar was more documented. There is not even remotely an exaggeration there. Jesus is arguably the most important historical figure to exist given the impact Christianity would bring to shape the world and ultimately birth modern science and uplift the West and take the human race into the modern age according to Joseph Needham who spent his life studying what brought about the rise of the West and not the East which stayed virtually stagnant for thousands of years.
3
@jitenmehra17 lmao do you know how ignorant that sounds. The historicity of Jesus is not even disputed. Only his resurrection is. We have many secular accounts of him even. The Talmud and the "Historian of Rome" Tacitus, who had access to official Roman records to make his historical documents even recorded Jesus. It doesn't get much better than Tacitus! You are absurd! We even have a Gospel in the dead sea scrolls...

hiOOxkr magkis Jesus himself said he was God. He proved he was God. He fulfilled prophecy he was God.
2
@OfficialNiteesh What are you talking about. Jesus never "attained" the title of God during his life. Jesus is literally God eternial. The Word is God, the Holy Spirit transformed the Word(God) into flesh, a seed in Marys womb fulfilling prophecy the seed of Eve would bruise the head of the serpent. Mary was from the bloodline of Eve. That is why genealogy is given in the bible to track this back. This was so Jesus, the Word, aka God could pay the price on behalf of humans.
2
There was never any question Jesus actually existed historically. I don't know why anyone even brings up such a notion. The only disputed part is the resurrection.
2
@astronomicalskies4710 Let me know how it goes when you see him that one time bro.
2
that music is unbearable
2
@Theactualstoic Jesus fulfilled every other prophecy with 100% accuracy yet you choose to believe he never one out of dozens. That is some flawed logic.
2
It's ironic because one could say Jesus is the fountain of knowledge given he is the living water and the truth. The bible says the blood he shed on the cross is alive and in a fountain in heaven today.

That's natural selection not evolution...

It's always India or China.

This still doesn't convey any significance to us. This is about as significant as putting a cellery stalk in dyed water and watching it change color. Means absolutely nothing to the viewer.
1
Ya but the baby wouldnt cross so what happened? The mother just left it again and then the baby got eaten? Not really a happy ending they obviously left that part out. If it did cross they would have said so.
1
lol that was a awesome video.

Dry and powder the food and send it to Africa. They only need to add water and heat. There, not wasted and preserved.
1
Kinda fucked they are feeding hamsters instead of feeder mice since hamsters are bred for pets. But I guess they look more like prairie dogs and perhaps they raise them there. It would be messed up buying pet hamsters from the store for that. That's like buying puppies to feed to your snake. Yes it's nature but it's the nature you are imposing on those two animals which is fucked up. Animals are bred for certain purposes for a reason.
1
No, you misunderstood everything I wrote. Humans have the ability to interfere with nature. It is our duty to preserve it the best we can and that involves interfering heavily. Of course that leads to prioritizing which is favoritism to animals we can benefit from most or simply adore the most. But so what, we have the power, so we choose what WE want to do. You fail to realize the decision to not involve ourselves is negligence for we have already altered everything. You're the moron/prick.

Insects don't have the capacity to design anything, they are doing what they were programed to do. And all termites across the world make the same structures, they aren't unique per colony. This obviously means it's encoded in their DNA. Mindless unguided process cannot code blueprints for architecture. So lets just keep it real here this is a design from God encoded onto to this specific organism. So we should be giving God the glory.
1
Do you always believe everything you are told?!
1
@izregistered Son of God literally means he is God. You are illiterate. It denotes difference in relationship not authority or power.
1
@anon_guy_22M You know nothing about Christianity if you think it promotes blind faith.
1
If your talking about everything being boring take a look at the variety of creatures that did exist. Pretty sure there is way more variety that was alive than is now and shows quite an imaginative God I think. But that wasn't what I was talking about in my comment you responded to.

I thought Wyatt found the ark...

That is so cool. I hope it takes off and helps the Indian people.
1
A calculator found out the queen lays 30 000 eggs a day? Or you just ignorant of the intent of the question?
1
The historical documentation of Christianity is extensive. Your statement is beyond absurd. Maybe if you were talking about Buddhism but not Christianity.
1
@humblebee8334 Find me a map before 1912 with Palestine on it. You won't. Stop with your nonsense.
1
That is stupid, we are part of the nature of the planet and are intelligent, if we want a baby bird to live over a snake then that is our choice and also part of nature. Many religions say humans have dominion over nature even.
1
Islam has nothing to do with Jesus. It's the only account that lies and says he never died on the cross.
1
Show me "Palestine" on a world map before 1912.
1
Too much beauty for me eyes!
1
Except everyone with him that wrote it down and is now in the most sold book in history.
1
@Andres64B Nope yourself. Except for all the gospels. The authors are known. Decades after Christs death and ressurection is hardly any argument. It was in all their lifetimes. And we only think decades because it's hard to date any earlier it was likely much earlier. Furthermore they were written by first hand witnesses in their lifetime. What do you expect a book written the next day? Absurd argument. What is supposed about the death of Jesus? It's not even a contested date. There was literally an eclipse and earthquake noted on the day. Hello? Then beyond the extensive first hand accounts from various Gospel writers we have extensive secular accounts. From the Talmud charges brought against Jesus. To "The Historian" of Rome Tacitus who had access to Romes official state records to make his historical records for Rome documenting Jesus in detail. It doesn't get anymore legitimate than Tacitus. The list goes on and on. Might want to look a bit harder next time.
1
@Andres64B Wow good argument. Says the person who thinks the Gospels are anonymous while being named literally after their authors who according to you aren't their authors and are meaningless names attributed to the books. Fascinating logic. How about you take your own advice.
1
Jesus did die on the cross though. This is a universal undisputed historical fact. The ONLY one that says any different and is lying is Islam 600+ years later.
1
Atheism is the farthest thing from common sense. It's completely illogical even as a default position to start from to make a claim there is no God. Far less the whole universe speaks of design everywhere we look.
1
@braumjuice If you don't believe in anything then you are a fool. Jesus is one of the most documented figures of his time. The literal dating system was named after him.
1
@Kr0nicDragon Is that supposed to be an argument? lol
1
WHAT?! The Father never died on the cross for your sins, Jesus did.
1
@rslongshot7453 I do, because it means accountability. That they are not their own god.
1
It's undisputed historical record he died on the cross. What in the world are you talking about lady. The contention is his resurrection. There is zero historical account that disputes his death on the cross.
1
This is very low quality content for National Geographic. They should have better standards than to sink so low as to do videos showing what x+y= when it has zero relevance to nature. Where does freezing a lily or burning a rose happen in nature and what relevance or unique outcome does it have? Zero. This is content far below the standards of National Geographic. If you are running out of ideas I think it's time people are fired and new ones are hired.
1
Last time I checked being specialized in one aspect means you severely lack in others. Humans although not fantastic in one area are great all around. There is biological limitations. God did a great job. You are just a idiot of biology.
1
Jesus was not fictional. It's not even historically contested if Jesus existed and died on the cross only his resurrection is. The irony you want to talk about logic lol.
1
look at the size of the octopus compaired to the shark though, thats one small shark or one big octopus. the shark never stood a chance. even if it would have bit a arm and twirled like a eel does the octopus could stop it from twirling and riping off a arm by grabing onto it with more arms so it cant spin since it's so small.
1
@John Hazenhousen You should preface that with "what I know of" because that is not even remotely the case. From the Talmud charges brought against Jesus, to the Gospel book found in the dead sea scrolls(extremely early copy), to "The Historian of Rome" Tacitus who had access to all of Romes official records which he used to make his historical records(it doesn't get much better than Tacitus), and the list goes on and on. Most of the Gospels were likely written not long after Christ to within a few decades due to the content they did and did not include which is completely expected and not an issue. They certainly were not written centuries after beyond the lives of those with first hand accounts. The noted accounts centuries later that are mentioned are mentioned because they are noted to be based on earlier accounts which is why there is value in mentioning them but certainly are not needed to establish the historicity of Jesus. It's a bonus, so to get caught up on them is sidetracking for no reason.
