True but in the end it's better than none at all. Taking D with K2 lowers the K2 absorption by half yet if that person would forget to or not take the K2 at all, it's still better than nothing. Make things too complicated and normal people won't follow it. It's a necessary price sometimes, happens with many things in life.

@Iliek You haven't the vaguest clue what you are talking about. Vitamin D deficiency is so common that the tests aren't even given anymore in Canada because everyone ever tested is always deficient. It's by far one of the most common deficiencies.

@NaturalCanadian Funny because the irony is, the only reason we know the vitamin D amounts are too low is because the Canadians fucked up and made a decimal error in the big vitamin D study that told the world how much we need to take haha. We need around 8-10 000 IU vs what was it before 800IU? something ridiculously low

Carotenoids oxidize the lipid bilayer of cells too, lycopene the "wonder carotenoid" was shown to be the worst.
