  26. The Canadian trucker convoy in Ottawa did not create problems other than blow their horns at night which the authorities stopped. I personally know people who went up in support of the truckers and against the govt.'s draconian mandates. They brought homemade soups and baked goods and fed the homeless and some of the truckers. They all said (and we could see on the news) that it was very peaceful and there was NO violence at all. Trudeau wasn't man enough to come out and talk to the truckers and chose to ignore them. So in his desperation he called the Emergency Act which was totally unecessary and oppressive on Canadian citizens! This past week a federal judge confirmed it was unconstitutional, against the Charter of Rights; thus illegal, unecessary and unreasonable!!! To continue in their arrogance and oppression of Canadians, Trudeau and his deputy prime minister, Chrystia Freeland, have announced they will be appealing the federal courts ruling. They refuse to admit they were wrong! Meantime the Liberals continue to plummet in the polls and they will not have the slightest chance of winning the next election in 2025! Their latest tactic against the Conservative party, which is leading by far in the polls, is to make them out to be Trumps MAGA people, which is simply not true.( there may be some) This past week Tucker Carlson spoke at a gathering in Alberta and the Liberals came out right afterwards condemning ( once again) Canadians and rhe Alberta premier who was present at the event. Once again they painted them as Maga fans wrongfully. They feel very threatened by America's " far right" as they call them:) Meanwhile Canadians are the ones feeling threatened by our "far left" PM and Liberal party! They are stripping away our rights with bill after bill! Especially shutting down freedom of speech and expression! It's time for a new gov't. and a new Prime minister in Canada!
