  4.  @AnonymousPerson-hr6qd  Yes, and he paid dearly for those sins both personally, and in the lives of his kids. He also suffered from depression in his later years. You can see that in the book of Ecclessiastes which he wrote. However, we are living in a new dispensation, and have the complete Word of God to guide and direct our lives. The NT says that the OT is there for our learning. In other words dont do what they did, but follow Jesus and His teaching. We have a greater responsibility.

  12. I believe this church is does NOT have the marks of a true ( biblical) church. They hired a pastor who did NOT meet the biblical qualifications or standards. They MUST of known there were marital problems going on and should have been talking to both of them about it. If she was posting about the abuse on facebook and many in the church knew it was going on ; the leadership had the responsibility to discipline the pastor and ask him to step down, or even excommunicate him. It sounds like they did nothing ; therefore they also are guilty in this womans death. My advice to anyone in that church is RUN ! You've had wolf in sheep's clothing devouring the sheep from the day he arrived ! Your leadership are also allowing the sheep to be abused. Find yourself a true church that is a biblical one ; even if it means you have to move. Do not stop meeting with believers on account of all this. Remember, we are living in the end times and Jesus warned us about false prophets !

  22. The priesthood was done away with long before Christ was born. The catholic church is not a biblical church at all ! This church did not follow the biblical mandate for choosing a pastor. That is to their shame ! The problem with you and these people you are referring to, is that they dont know their Bibles. If you did, you follow Christ's command to gather with believers to worship Him, fellowship with one another ; bear one anothers burdens, pray for each other ; and remember Christs sufferings for us in the Lords supper as He commanded.
