  2. This is not revenge first of all. It is justice though. Most importantly, God has ordained that govt's use the death penalty in cases of pre mediated murder. The reason is so that society is protected from these murderers. Its not something anyone should gloat over. Read Romans chapter 13: 1-4.

  3. You're wrong about Christians be ok with killing people. We certainly don't believe in taking the law into our own hands! BUT, God values a life He has made so much that He forbids us to murder! When someone murders another person the punishment is severe & God has given the gov't the authority for the death penalty in cases of pre meditated murder. The reason being for the protrction of its citizens. Romans 13: 1-4 Many Christians don't understand the N.T. view on this matter. .
