  1. It doesnt work & is unaffordable. Just ask people in Ontario, Canada! We are in worst health care crisis ever the past four years! Umanle to get family doctors, up to a year to see a specialist, many monyhs to get an MRI etc. Shortage of nurses, paramedics & doctors & up yo ten hours wait in ER. Some smaller cities have closed their ER depts!

  2.  @JohnT.4321  I don't know what your issues sre there, but in the end socialism doesn't work ! I live here & I could tell you two incidents where I had to go to ER and had a nightmare experience both times ! Laying on floor for 5 hours because there were no stretchers or beds available and sick with food poisining ! The second time I came in by ambulance because my throat was closing off from Covid & my airway was blocked several times & I could not breath. I was put in the waiting by the paramedic and never saw a nurse or doctor for 8 hours! Nearly died that night!! People are dying in ER waiting rooms! So don't imagine things are better here. Twenty years ago, yes, but not anymore! Another misconception Americans have is that we have universal health care. We have provincial health care plans, so coverage varies from one province to another.
