He used NO DIPLOMACY whatsoever. The counter tariffs will have a very negative effect on Americans. Many people will lose their jobs and the price of many things will increase. This will be bad for both countries. I'm not a Liberal or a Democrat, but this is the dumbest thing Trump has ever done. You don't stab your long standing neighbor and ally in the back without any reason or discussion. You don't seem to realize the long standing effects this has had, and will have between the two countries.
