  1. As a dual citizen living in Canada since 1970, I would move back to the US for better healthcare alone. I have had two horrible experiences un ER here and cant even get an MRI for my painful knee for half a year. Then maybe half a year or more to see a specialist. Then maybe another year before I could get surgery. Today I went to Buffalo to get an MRI of my knee, at my own expense. This is ludicrous!

  2. Trudeau has turned his back in our allies Israel. He has trashed Trump publicly in parliament this whole past year, along with his party. Trudeau deserves whatever is coming to him. He's already wrecked Canada's economy and burdened the people with his excess taxes. We can't wait for him to be gone!

  5. Correct...we don't really have a health care system any more. Ten hour waits in ER. Six months or more for an MRI, or a year for a CT scan of the head! Just today I drove to Buffalo for an MRI of my knee, at my own expense. Been in severe pain for going on two months and using crutches. Can't work, and was told it could take half a year before I could get an MRI here. Then you may wait another six months or more to see a specialist. If you need surgery, you might wait another six months to a year. All the while in severe pain and unable to walk. You get the picture? No wonder Canadians want private hospitals and clinics now.

  31. I just had an MRI of my knee in Buffalo today at my own expense. The reason is that I can't even get a remote date for one in Ontario. I was told it could be spring or even summer. This is ludicrous and is not health care. Then I might have to wait six months to a year to see an Orthopedic doctor. This is not health care. Then, if I need surgery, I could wait another year. This is not health care! I've already been using crutches for a month now, because of the pain, and am unable to do any weight bearing. I'm sleeping very little some nights because of the pain. This is not health care. I need to work (a single, senior lady...no husband or kids) in order to pay my rent and bills, and am unable to do so. I do not know what to do as this nonsense may go on for a year or two. I know of a man who is waiting for a year to get a CT scan of his head. You get the picture. This is not health care. I have spent many winters in N. C. and was in ER twice. Saw a nurse within 5 minutes, and a doctor within 2O minutes. Had a private room in ER within five minutes after that. Had a CT within the hour. I have taken my senior friends there to appointments. You can get an MRI within a week, and see a specialist in one to two weeks. Which country would you choose for service? The answer is obvious.
