The Five are obviously not well enough informed to have a serious discussion on the topic of Canada.
As a dual citizen living in Canada since 1970, I'll share some thoughts. I've also been a snowbird in the US for ten years, and have relatives and friends in numerous states.
Where O'Leary got his 50% from is beyond me. I live in Ontario, and the last poll I heard was 13%. The truth is that very few Canadians have taken Trump's remarks seriously, and have not thought any of this through at all. Early remarks I'm seeing are largely negative on becoming the 51st state. That would require a lot of serious thinking for several years, so it's not even realistic at this point to talk about it.
Your bearded man said we are largely Liberal and would be bad representatives in your govt. like AOC. That also is very false. Canadians are returning to Conservatism in droves, after seeing what a wreck the Liberals have made of our country.
What's happening in Canada right now is similar to what Americans just went through with the Democrats. The people rejected Biden and his Liberal ideologies.
Canada is doing the same with Trudeau and the Liberals. ( and NDP). We are sick and tired of their far left, woke ideologies, and disastrous immigration policies, Tired of being taxed to the max, only to see our money go to Ukraine, UNWRA, ICC, UN, WEF, and Climate Change agendas. Everywhere but helping Canadians.
We have a housing crisis, a health care crisis, and economic crisis. Our dollar is only worth 69 cents! Our border is open and crime is up 300%.
One thing the vast majority of Canadians agree on, is that they want Trudeau and the Liberals gone for good! That includes the NDP leader, Jagmeet Singh, who has propped up Trudeau for four years now.
Most importantly, we have a solid, wise, experienced, Conservative leader named Pierre Pollievre. He's a gracious family man, who has been an excellent leader of the opposition party for several years now. This large party has excellent MP's who have done a wonderful job of exposing the corruption in the Liberal party. They are going to make Canada great again when they get voted in this year!
So far Pierre Pollievre rejects Trump's frivolous talk about Canada becoming the 51st state. It's not even being given any serious thought! ( sorry Kevin O'Leary!) What Pierre IS saying is that he will put Canada first! He will not allow Trump to get everything he wants, and he'll be very good at sitting down for a reasonable discussion. Pierre will put Canada first, and we have very good resources to work with the US. He is a wise man ( probably wiser than Trump) and will not be a push over.
Everyone I know is voting Conservative in 2025, and it's shaping up to be a landslide victory!🎉🎉🎉. It can't come fast enough!
