  48. @gaelan white It's not a demonination. Evangelicals are Christians who obey Christ's command to share the gospel. ( good news) That does not mean being rude or forceful. It's usually friendship/ lifestyle fadhion, but some might use tracts or invite you to a Bible study etc. Just getting the message out there, but only God can change a persons heart by the Holy Spirit. Some churches ( like most catholic churches) do not evangelize because they are not biblical churches & only have a form of godliness without the power. ( the power of God the Holy Spirit which we receive the moment we repent & believe) The book of Acts explains that more fully as churches were first established when the Holy Spirit was poured out for the first time.The JW' s go door to door but its not biblical evangelism either, because they bring a false message which Paul calls " another gospel" in Galations. Best to read the NT and then you can have a better understanding of biblical Christianity. There are so many lies being told because people have no knowledge of scripture & thus imagine wild things about believers. PS. I went to Bible colllege for a few years & studied cults & world religions too.
