  2. I cant stand listening to the lies of the Liberals & NDP about " helping" seniors. So as a low income senior myself let me explain why. They claim they are helping us with dental care. Lol ! Most people over 70 years of age have dentures ! Ironically, this " dental care" does NOT cover the cost of dentures ! Appx. 2 years ago I needed new dentures. It cost me close to $ 5000.00 and I never got a dime from this govt ! Of course, I did not have the money, so the burden fell on my family. ( I have no children) So their current "plan" does not cover the largest expense seniors have ! Furthermore, IF you still have a few of your own teeth left, all you would need is a once a year cleaning. So what's the big "deal" they are bragging about thats helps us so much ? A hundred dollars a year for cleaning ? Woopy doo ! Instead of bringing our pensions up to par with inflation, they are sending OUR billions of dollars to Ukraine and are PAYING FOR SENIORS PENSIONS OVER THERE !!! Yes, I heard it right from Freelands own mouth last summer !! This is ludicrous and criminal ! It's theft. Now the climate change rebate JT claims is helping us so much ! It comes 3 or 4 times a year and is just over $ 100.00 which is a far cry from what we all pay into it through our taxes ! This small amt of money does very little for any low income people. It does not even pay for half a months groceries, and I along with thousands of others, are using the food bank ! None of these tid bits they brag about help us pay our rent or bills. Nor does it cover the increase in cost of food or gas ! Or the extreme increases in our rent. There is no rent geared to income for seniors. All their bragging about building houses does NOTHING for seniors ; nor do they even talk about it! For two years now I have been looking for low income housing or apartments for three senior ladies. There was nothing ! I trust you can understand our disgust at the PMs bragging about how much he is doing for seniors. They havent even hit the tip of our iceberg ! In fact, they are completely out of touch with our hardship and reality ! It costs at least $ 3000.00 a month for a single person to live right now. Low income seniors get $ 1200.00 to $ 1700.00 on average. So if they want to " help" seniors they need to increase OAS and CPP by $ 1500.00 a month !! We know that wont happen with this greedy, corrupt govt. Putting us in debt by billions, and totally by passing seniors ! Utterly a disgrace when a nation does not care for its most vulnerable ! Please will someone reveal the truth in the house about how seniors are NOT being helped by this govt !

  5. Freeland is Ukranian and definitely works for them ! That's why so many billions have gine over there ! Not for the war, but for remodelling museums, infrastructure, and SENIORS PENSIONS !! Can you believe it ?! While seniors here cannot afford their rent or food ?!

  10. You dont understand. My dental plan ended at 65. So did my life insurance. So much corruption ! Trudeau's " dental plan" is for people over 70. Most people over 70 have dentures or need them. They cost 4-5 thousand dollars ! Ironically, Trudeau's "plan" does not cover a dime of it ! So that leaves mostly a yearly cleaning for some people with a few of their own teeth left. So roughly $ 120.00 a year : ) This is a joke to most of us. What they should be doing is increasing our OAS and CPP up to par with inflation ! They are more than a thousand dollars a month from that ! Now I have not even touched on the housing crisis for low income seniors !

  14. Its a joke ! Most seniors have dentures & they refuse to pay for the cost of dentures (4-5 thousand dollars) So IF you have any of your own teeth, all you need is a cleaning once a year ! Woopy doo... A hundred dollars a year, and they brag ! Does nothing to help us with rent or groceries !

  16. ​ @johnarnold893 not true, and I'm over 70. I have 45 nieces & nephews. No fancy cars, no drugs or booze. Just ordinary hard working young people. Firemen, paramedics, farmers, nurses, truck drivers, stay at home mom's, bus drivers etc.
