  1. I'm a 71 year old senior lady and can't afford my rent, let alone bills or food. I have no husband or children I work PT to the detriment of my health. When will they stop bragging about dental care and rebates, and increase our monthly pensions up to par with inflation?!!

  3. For those of you who don't know, your money is paying for senior pensions in Ukraine. While low income seniors like me can no longer afford rent, bills, or food! No, we didn't need the wasteful dental care plan. We need a $1500.00 month increase in our OAS/CPP!! Nonone can live on $1500.00 a month!!! Shame on this govt. for neglecting it's own seniors! For bragging every day about how they are " helping " us. Why do they refuse to bring our pensions up to par with inflation?

  5. I'm a low income senior and can no longer afford my rent, food, or bills. I'm a 71 year old woman with serious health problems, yet I am forced to work PT in order to survive. What we need is our govt to bring our pensions up to par with inflation, and they refuse to even talk about it. That's because we would need at least a $1500.00 a month increase. No one can live on $1500.00 a month! What we don't need is dental care or CC rebates! Don't believe JT's daily claims that THEY are " helping" seniors. They are afflicting us with taxes, food, gas, and rent increases. To add insult to injury, he and Freeland are using our money to pay for senior's pension's in UKRAINE! This is ludicrous and why we need a no confidence election NOW!!

  6.  @mikearchibald744  The carbon tax rebate does nothing to help pay my rent and monthly bills. The cost of living has gone up so much there is not enough money to even pay rent. That's why seniors using the food bank are up by 60%. OAS and CPP should be increased according to inflation. It hasn't and this govt has the gall to send billions to Ukraine, and pay for senior pensions there! What a betrayal of Canadian seniors!

  12. You don't know what you're talking about. The increase in pensions should be given to low income seniors like me. No one can live on $1400.00-$1600.0 a month, so the increase needs to be doubled. I agree the increase should only be for low income seniors.

While low income seniors like me can no longer afford our rent, let alone bills and food! Their daily boasting about dental care & the CC rebates is nothing but a cover-up for the truth. The truth is we need at least a $1500.00 increase in our pensions just to survive! Why don't they stop pretending to " help" us and get with OUR reality!

  18. You're comments are disgusting and judgemental without the facts! I became disabled at 37 from with a tick borne illness. After being semi bedridden for four years I finally got diagnosed in the US. Too late for successful treatment and remained unable to work. My "big" disability pension was only half of my hourly rate. Being a single with no husband or children, I have moved from place to place renting a room and once lived in a co op. Now that I'm a senior I get a meager and impossible pension to live on, thanks to the Liberals. I never owned a home or had any RRSPS etc. Their dental plan and supplements are not what we need. Neither of them enable low income seniors to pay even their rent, let alone bills or food. Furthermore, there is no rent geared to income for seniors. Only for immigrants, refugees and foreign students. Seniors have been thrown under the bus in this country and it's a shame! Meanwhile this govt is paying for senior pensions in Ukraine! What a betrayal of Canadian seniors. Billions to Ukraine, but seniors here cannot afford rent and food. It's beyond sickening. This govt is TOTALLY out of touch with it's citizens and needs to be voted out asap! As for you, you haven't walked a mile in my shoes, and should stop judging without the facts. ! @MrCavemanHockeyChamp

They have wrecked our country and have robbed Canadians with taxes to give it to Ukraine, UNWRA, UN and WEF. All the while parroting the same nonsense every day about dental care & CC rebates.
