  1. Always travel with Blue Cross Ins. They ask all the questions BEFORE you travel and are very reasonable with any disputes. I would not get my insurance from CAA or anyone else. They're eager to get your money initially,, but when something happens it's another story. I have heard stories like this one many times. Do your homework well ! And dont pay the bill. Go after the insurance company ! I always travel with Blue Cross and have had two or rhree claims. They always come through.

If you have certain condtions or medication changes recently you may pay more or be declined. Every time I hear these stories it not from Blue Cross. CAA and other private ones hide behind the pre existing clause.

I like Blue Cross because they will do the questions over the phone before they give you the ok or not. So there are no surprises. Most seniors from Canada do not have grandchildren living there. They are snowbirds.
