Jesus Christ is the mediator of a new covenant with all who believe. Israel rejected their Messiah and that is why the gospel must be preached to the Gentiles now. The Jews wiil eventually come to recognize Christ as their Saviour and its likely to come through hard knocks like this. Before the end of time large numbers of Jews will be converted as the Holy Spirit will open their eyes to see Jesus is their only Saviour! Romans chapter 11 Jesus does not cimmand to murder our enemies but to love them and pray for them. However, He also ordained govt's to protect their citizens and thats why war is sometimes necessary. Read Romans 13: 1-7
