Add to that music with demonic lyrics, drugs or alcohol, anger, rage, pornography and more. Although their background may sometimes be a factor, that is not necessarily a factor. Take Ted Bundy for example. He was brought up in a good Christian home. Yet when he was a teenager he began to feed his mind with evil, pornography etc
