  6. I'm a dual citizen living in Canada since 1970. I've also been a snowbird for many years. Peterson is absolutely right on all points! Too bad Canadians are so ignorant of US politics. Especially the Liberals. The Liberals in Canada are the equivalent of the Democrats in the US. Same far left ideologies. Divisive politics. In a few short months, Carney has already written off the US, and divided the provinces. Alberta will separate if Carney gets elected and I wouldn't blame them. Carney will divide us with his extreme Woke ideology and support for transgenderism etc to be taught in our schools. Of course, he has two daughters that are trans. The oldest is a trans activist. Carney's wife has been a climate change activist for decades. Carney has one goal for Canada and that is to implement HIS global agenda on us all. Net zero, digital banking, one world economy, keep us poor and unhappy. Own nothing. Tax us heavily for his climate change agenda. He will stifle every attempt for the use and development of our own resources! No pipelines or mining etc. So where did all the hatred and disdain for Trudeau go? Carney has the same cabinet ministers in place with the same horrible policies, and Canadians think anything will be better? What is wrong with these people? Don't they ever learn from their mistakes?! And how gullible can you be to think Carney will be better than Pollivre to deal with Trump?! He had over two months to do sometime and he did nothing! He ran off to Europe and never called Trump once, let alone ask for a meeting! Then two days after Trump imposed the steel and aluminum tariffs Carney comes out with a big speech on March 27th and announces that our relationship with the US is over! How dumb is that?! Very! In the same speech he states that Canada will be " a new global Canada"! Now thats his intention from the start! That's why HE wants America out of the way! This just goes to show you how utterly disconnected he is from Canadians and our relationship with the US! We are very intertwinned in every way! Trade, business, tourism, jobs, shopping, family and friends! Even helping each other out in a crisis or disaster! But Carney doesn't care about that! He just cares about HIMSELF and what HE wants! Pollivre has common sense. He will restore the strength and respect we once had with the US. He will meet with officials , and try to negotiate a new and better trade deal with no tariffs. Unlike Carney who wants to be at war with the US, Pollivre will try to restored our long standing relationship. That is what is in the best interest of both countries. We certainly need them more than they need us. Furthermore it was the Liberals who allowed our military to become so weak and our borders un secured! We are NOT able to protect ourselves from any invasion, so we have, and still do rely solely on the US for protection.
