  2. As a low income senior, I cannot afford to pay my rent, or bills anymore, and there is no rent geared to income housing. I cannot afford groceries and am using the food bank. In stead of Trudeau and Freeland bringing our pensions up to par with inflatiion, they are sending billions to Ukraine, and are paying for senior pensions there !! How insulting to hardworking Canadians and seniors ! These excessive give aways to foreign countries, while Canadians suffer, must stop ! It's also sickening to listen to Trudeau and the Liberals every week at Q & A in pariliament tell the PC's they are " supporting seniors" in Canada ! They are not ! Nor are they providing dental care for us. Not a dime have they paid towards my $ 5000.00 dental bill the past two years ! This lying Liberal/ NDP govt must be ousted asap ! Too many Canadians can no longer make ends meet and we know nothing will change for us in the short term, or long term. We are not stupid. Trudeau MUST go, and the time is now, not 2025 !

The reason is I see foreign students, and immigrants/ refugees in the line ups like never before. Everything is the result of the Liberal/ NDP policies folks! ( K-W region) The reason so many of us have to, is because for nine years this Liberal ) NDP govt has refused to bring our OAS/CPP up to par with inflation. Not even a few dollars worth mentioning. Their supplements and rebates don't come close to helping us make ends meet either! They are just a sugar coated cover up for our real needs. No one can live on $1200.00 to $1500.00 a month. That does not even put a roof over our heads! We didnt the need dental care JT brags about every day either! Just increase our monthly income by at least $1500.00 a month now Libs, and get realistic! If that isnt bad enough, they have given billions of dollars to Ukraine and are paying for senior's pensions there with OUR money!! Talk about injustice!! We must get this party out if office asap!!   36. The only way the Liberals can " help" low income seniors is by bringing OAS and CPP up to par with inflation. Since they have refused to do so for 9 years now, that would mean a $ 1500.00 a month increase now. No one can survive on $ 1300.00 to $ 1700.00 a month !! That does not even cover rent, let alone bills or food ! Furthermore, there is no low income housing available for seniors, and all the homes he claims he's going to build, does nothing for low income people. The dental plan they brag about is not what we need. It's only for seniors over 70, and most have dentures by then. That does nothing at all for our monthly expenses. Neither does the CC rebate which amounts to a very small amount a few times a year. None of this helps us pay our monthly rent, bills or food which is why seniors are in dire straights now ! I have been looking for an affordable place to live for three seniors for the past three years to no avail ! Even the food bank does not meet the grocery needs for a month. I have concluded that this is why JT put in place MAID mainly for seniors ! To listen to the Liberals in Q & A in parliament week after week critize the PC' s, and boast about how much they are doing for seniors has been nauseating to say the least. I was far better off during the Harper years than I am now !! I think all Canadians should know that the they are being lied to when they hear how much the JT and Freeland are doing for seniors. It's not true. As a matter of fact they are using YOUR money to pay for seniors pensions in UKRAINE while Canadians seniors here lanquish in poverty ! I heard Freeland make that announcement about a year ago so I know its true. It was on one of their many billion dollar give aways to Ukraine. No senior who is aware of these facts should even think about voting Liberal or NDP ! A country is known by how it treats its most vulnerable !

  72. What a pathetic response. One death in 35 years, as sad as it is, is rare. We also dont know if there were underlying health issues. I come from a family of 12 children. We did not get any vaccines until we went to kindengarten. Everyone of us had the normal childhood diseases...measles, mumps and chicken pox, and survived without any issues. Some of us are in our 70's now. Both my parents lived to be 98 and enjoyed unusually good health right into their 80's and 90's. Neither of them ever had any vaccines in their entire life except a smallpox shot to get on a boat and immigrate in the 1940's. They never had a measles shot, or any flu shots in their life, right through their senior years. Nor did they get a Covid shot, and lived right through that too, without getting sick. Rarely even got a cold. Almost all of my 45 nieces and nephews got only the basic vaccines but never as infants. Some dont get them til they are several years old. They are healthiest kids I've ever seen ! Your suggestion to not have kids if you dont choose to have vaccines is outrageous ! How many children died of crib death years ago because of a vaccine ? Untold numbers ! How many babies now have autism as a result of vaccines ? How many children got juvenile diabtetes as the result of a hepatitis vaccine ? Many ! This was well proven and documented in the K-W record years ago. Why are so many children getting cancer now ? Why so many allergies and auto immune diseases ? Could it just be because now babies are getting vaccines for multiple diseases before they're even two or three months old ?! People who are not vaccinated do not pose any threat, and if there should be an outbreak most would likely still get vaccinated. It has also been proven that many people have died from the Covid vaccines. This is well documeted. Many young people died suddenly of a heart attack. I know of a 10 year old boy who died in his sleep the same day he got the jab. My family knows a healthy man in his 30's who got the jab and collapsed. He died in hosoital within a week or so. No underlying conditions. Now numerous people are getting " turbo cancer" and dying within weeks or months. The cancer spreads so fast they are in stage four when they get diagnosed. My family knows several people this has happened to, and this also is being well documented. They all had several Covid vaccines. We live in a free country and these are personal decisions ; not gov't decisions. The Covid "vaccines" had little to no studies done before they started pushing them on people. The wisest people may actually be ones who refused get them. I'm one of them. I survived two strains of Covid, and used alternative medicine to get me through. If you want to tell anybody not to have kids, tell the women who abort their babies not to get pregnant. Leave those of us who choose life alone.

  141. So they can build hospitals, but you can't get help in ER. You cant even an get an MRI or CT scan for six months to a year! Apparently they cant even get technicians to operate them. You cant see a specialist for up to a year. You may not get surgery for yet another year. We dont even have a " health care" system anymore. I have been unable to work due to a serious knee problem. It will need surgery or at the very least a procedure to repair. I was told by the hospital MRI dept. that it could be March before I get an appt. So six to eight months waiting for an MRI and in the meantime I doing further serious damage to the knee. Plus, I cannot work, and therefore don't know I will pay my rent and buy food. Not to mention I'm in pain, and can barely walk or bend my knee. To make matters worse, once I have the MRI, I could be waiting another six months or more to see a surgeon. After that, another six months or more to actuallty have the surgery. This is unacceptable, unrealistic, and inhumane!! Are we a third world country now, or what? Doug Ford is directly to blame for this, and I will not be voting for him in the next election. He's giving billions to all kinds of other projects and causes, but we cannot get services for health care! In the past five years, I nearly died twice in ER after waiting for eight hours in the waiting room. Enough is enough. My story is only one of hundreds and thousands. I hear the same from people wherever I go. No wonder people want private health care clinics and hospitals. You can MRI there in one weeks time!! I know someone who just did it. Unfortunately, as a low income senior, I cant afford that privilege. Which brings me to another point. The federal and provincial govt's. are NOT taking care of seniors, and refuse to increase our OAS/ CPP to bring it up to par with inflation.   318. The biggest factor of all is not talked about. Doctors, nurses, and other health care workers were let go during Covid. Many also took early retirements to avoid the persecution. As a result we have a shortage of all of these good professionals who were not valued. We are reaping what we've sown. Some of these health care workers would like to return to work, but hospitals refuse to take them back. They're just too proud to admit they were wrong in the first place. So some of the shortages could be alleviated but hospitals don't care enough about the patients. Many doctors also decided to go south for a better life. Who can blame them?! We need to get rid of all the politicians who put in place these Covid restrictions, and get some common sense leaders voted in! It's time for the Liberals and NDP to depart, and Doug Ford is also to blame. Hallway healthcare is still the case, and ER wait times are far worse. 8-12 hours...inhumane. I've been there twice this past year, so I know firsthand. The second problem the Liberals are responsible for is their ludicrous immigration policies, and student visas. These have also totally overwhelmed our health care system, as well as created a housing crisis. It's time for a complete overhaul in our federal and provincial govt's. Otherwise nothing will change.   503. Why is no one talking about the fact that the only blood test Canada has for Lyme is 50 % inaccurate ?! False positives and false negatives ! Very outdated compared to what they use in the US and Germany ! After being mis diagnosed for four years, and disabled, I decided to go to the US. The first thing they told me was they didnt care what the Eliza test results were. They considered it to be very unreliable and have several other tests that are better. Having removed an embedded tick on my upper abdomen, I became very ill within three weeks. I went to several doctors near Hamilton, On, none of whom even did the blood test ! After seeing doctors in three states each one told me I had Lyme disease. One doctor identified two co infections as well, which is very common. The rest is a long story. I used antibiotics for some time, and then had good results in an excellent alternative clinic in Kansas. The sad truth is most people with Lyme disease or other tick borne illnesses in Ontario ( and Canada) are MISDIAGNOSED due to the un reliabilty of the one poor blood test we have ! I have met many over the decades who told they didnt have it, when they did. Many Canadians are going south of the border to get properly tested and diagnosed. The other problem here is how to treat Lyme. If you are infected and already have symptoms for some time, a week or two of antibiotics will not cure you. So there again you need to find out how US doctors are treating Lyme. There is a lot of controversy over this. If you have symptoms of Lyme, or had a tick bite, do not settle down with a mis diagnosis from doctors here, but go south of the border for another opinion or two ! I know too many people who are disabled because they were either misdiagnosed, or not treated properly, or long enough. This doctor mentioned Doxcycline as the treatment, but there are several others being used in the US. There are also some excellent alternative clinics which we have nothing like here. I went to one of them. They will cost you money though if you dont have insurance. The stats they provide here are way under estimated due to the poor test, and many mis diagnosed people. PS. I'm also a retired nurse, and for many years a member of a Lyme disease support group.

Beans, canned vegetables, tuna, and fruit, cereal, rice, pasta etc. The fridge & freezer stuff always varies depending on in donations. Usually milk, eggs, and two kinds of meat. There might be some fresh vegetables but you only get a few pieces. You can always get bread, but it is almost always out dated.
