  1. So they can build hospitals, but you can't get help in ER. You cant even an get an MRI or CT scan for six months to a year! Apparently they cant even get technicians to operate them. You cant see a specialist for up to a year. You may not get surgery for yet another year. We dont even have a " health care" system anymore. I have been unable to work due to a serious knee problem. It will need surgery or at the very least a procedure to repair. I was told by the hospital MRI dept. that it could be March before I get an appt. So six to eight months waiting for an MRI and in the meantime I doing further serious damage to the knee. Plus, I cannot work, and therefore don't know I will pay my rent and buy food. Not to mention I'm in pain, and can barely walk or bend my knee. To make matters worse, once I have the MRI, I could be waiting another six months or more to see a surgeon. After that, another six months or more to actuallty have the surgery. This is unacceptable, unrealistic, and inhumane!! Are we a third world country now, or what? Doug Ford is directly to blame for this, and I will not be voting for him in the next election. He's giving billions to all kinds of other projects and causes, but we cannot get services for health care! In the past five years, I nearly died twice in ER after waiting for eight hours in the waiting room. Enough is enough. My story is only one of hundreds and thousands. I hear the same from people wherever I go. No wonder people want private health care clinics and hospitals. You can MRI there in one weeks time!! I know someone who just did it. Unfortunately, as a low income senior, I cant afford that privilege. Which brings me to another point. The federal and provincial govt's. are NOT taking care of seniors, and refuse to increase our OAS/ CPP to bring it up to par with inflation. Doug seems to think giving us $200.00 in January will help us. Honestly, it's an insult to low income people. We need much more than that every month just to survive! No wonder food banks have seniors lined up there now! It's a disgrace to those to made this country what it is today. Shame in any govt that does not help it seniors while they give billions elsewhere! .

  2. I will not be voting for Doug Ford. He can give our money away like candy, but we cannot get health care anywhere. People are walking around waiting for an MRI or CT scan for six months to a year. In pain, and needing surgery, or cancer treatments! It's ludicrous what we have become in this province! People are dying or suffering in ER rooms every day. I would move to the US in a flash when it comes to health care! I can get an MRI in Buffalo in 48 hours, but I was just told I have to wait 6 months or more here! All the while in pain, unable to barely walk, and unable to work:; with no compensation!
