He had two months to deal with Trump and did nothing! He flew to Europe, and never once even called Trump, let alone ask for a meeting. Then after Trump announced the steel and aluminum tariffs, Carney makes a speech two days later. NO diplomacy at all!! There he said the worst things possible for Canada! Without opening parliament, so our 338 elected officials could weigh in on the " crisis". Carney is a solo authoritarian already! Carney proclaimed that our relationship with the US is over. How stupid and unrealistic can you get for someone running for PM?! Only a European, global elite, candidate would say something like that! We do 75% of our trade with the US. We are very intertwined in every way. With families and friends, trade, business, jobs, tourism, and disasters and more. We rely on them for protection thanks to the Liberal weakness. Quite frankly we cant exist without them. No true Canadian prime minister would ever make such a foolish and HASTY statement! So why did Carney say that?
