  1. I'm a retired nurse too with a different view. I worked with seniors for decades, in hospitals, nursing homes, & private home care. Never once did I have a senior tell me they wanted to die even if they were struggling. In some cases life was hard for them but nothing cheered them up like a loving, caring, cheerful nurse! Yes, even in those days a hug was legal! We weren't muzzeled with a mask & could actually see & hear each other & enjoy our smiles:) We didn't see them as a burden or as a problem, or as a waste of money! I saw them as the very people who worked so hard to make our society a better place to live. Who blessed our families with tender loving loving care! Now it's our turn to care for them with dignity & respect until GOD takes them home. Both my parents lived to the ripe old age of 98! They had very healthy & useful senior years. The last few years we assisted them in their condo but they could still use their walkers, enjoy their family & friends etc. They lived for their family & we lived for them ! God's wise design. We never once coveted their savings, but rather wanted them to have the best care possible! They had 12 children, 45 grand children, & 92 great grandchildren ! What a legacy they left behind ! We praise God for the privelege of having them with us so long & miss them dearly. God values all lives equally & what I see trending in our day is very concerning.

  2. Im a retired nurse too and loved all my elderly patients to pieces : ) I learned so much from them & they deserve the utmost love, respect, & care ever ! They made our society what is is, & took care of their families ! Both my parents lived to 98 with few health issues until the last three years. We assisted them in their own home the last few years where they continue d to enjoy their families & friends ! No Dr. Death for my large family please !

  6. Thank you for your story ! My parents lived to be 98 & were married 72 years ! They had very good senior years & my dad drove til he was 95. Relatively few health issues until the last few years & we assisted them in their condo to the end! They thouroughly enjoyed their large family to the end. 12 children, 45 grandchildren, 92 great grandchildren! Now that's something to live for! Interesting that they never had a flu shot ever & no Covid jab! Canada's MAID law is just euthanasia! My friend told me tonight they are encouraging people at our local homeless shelter to end their lives!!!! Horrible! Most of these people are young!

  7. Yes... That's why our evil prime minister JT passed a bill called MAID. Encouraging everyone to end their life prematurely! Just get the shot. Depressed? Elderly? Terminal illness? Can't make ends meet? Handicapped? Got debt? Mental health issues? Come one, come all! We have the solution for you! Just take a jab & you're problems will be over ! They even want kids to be allowed to make this decision without parental consent ! Welcome to Canada... One of the "best" countries in the world ! We'll take care of you and your grannies ! Wow.. Look how much money we'll save in our health care system too !

We assisted them the last few years in their own condo. Never had a flu shot in their life, & no Covid jab! I think that speaks volumes!

  28. I feel very sorry for this doctor. He values life only by what you can contribute to society. Not for who you are as a person. Both my parents lived to be 98! They had relatively few health problems during their senior years. ( married 72 years)The last few years we assisted them in their condo because they needed a walker, but they were mentally acute. They had 12 children, 45 grandhildren, & 92 great grandchildren! They were able to love & enjoy all of us & vice versa which is another reason they lived to a GOOD old age ! God blessed them with unusual longevity & we miss them very much! On another note, I am a retired nurse & have witnessed many deaths. It's easy to say when you're younger what age you want to die at, but when you get to that phase MOST patients wanted us to do everything to keep them alive! Dying is not natural as most people say. It's the curse due to sin. We were made in God's image & thus are spiritual beings meant to live forever. Praise God He sent his Son Jesus into the world to show us the Fathers heart, and make the way for us to be reconciled to God again through the death & resurrection of Jesus Christ. All who repent & believe on Him will have their sins forgiven & have inner peace with God in this life. In the life to come eternal life! No more sin, pain & sorrow! Now that is a blessed & well grounded hope for a sure future!

They continued to enjoy their large family to the last day & we were so happy to love & care for them to the end ! With Dr. Deaths view here my parents wouldnt have had numerous anniversary's or birthday celebrations ! Nor would they have enjoyed their large family's many celebrations ! ( they had 12 children, 45 grandchildren, & 92 great grandchildren) Maybe this doctor won't have anything to live for after 75, but please don't speak for the rest of us ! PS I am a retired nurse myself.

  35. If the doctor thinks 75 is a good time to call it quits, I'm sure that will reflect on how he views or values the lives of his patients, especially the elderly! I sure don't want him for my doctor! I'm getting close to that age & have a lot to do here yet! Besides both my parents died in the last two years at the ripe old age of 98! Still lived in their own condo & assisted & loved by their 12 kids, 45 grandchildren, & 92 great grandchildren! God's design. We miss them dearly. God values every life equally from the tiniest aborted baby to the oldest elderly person!

Rarely had a cold or flu ! Raised a family of 12 kids, 45 grandchildren. 92 great grandchildren ! We as family provided assisted living in their own condo the last two years of their life. If they had been in a nursing home they would died a long time ago!

It was our DELIGHT to care for them & they thrived on our love & vice versa. A lot of this about attitudes ! Im seeing a big difference in people that are Christian/ vs athiestic view points ! Generally speaking Christians have a much higher value on life & love & care for their loves ones

With his views we will do away with all disabled & autistic people. Getting to sound like Hitler's era. Dont mis understand me. I am not saying a person with terminal cancer has to take every bad drug available but that's a diffent story than just wanting to end your life because you reach a certain age. As a retired nurse I can tell you don't know what you'll want until the time comes. Most people want to live, like my parents who both lived to be 98 & had very good old age years! With 12 children, 45 grandchildren, & 92 great grandchildren they had something to live for! I suspect the doctor just might be gay & has no children??? God's design is always best!   50. I live in Canada & this doctors views line up with what's happening here now. Our athiestic PM Trudeau passed a bill called MAID & now its being used to encourage everyone to die prematurely ! They want to save money on the health care system so the seniors are first to go. Then terminally ill & this week I heard from someone they were encouraging young people at our homeless shelter to end their life this way ! It's going back to Hitler's era as far as I'm concerned & I'm a retired nurse. Next they'll do in austic people, quadriplegics, & anyone in a wheelchair !

We assiisted them in their condo at that point. At no time did either one of them say they wanted to die! They were able to enjoy their 12 children, 45 grandchildren, & 92 great grandchildren & vice versa. It's very sad when society see the elderly as a financial burden, & not worthy of proper health care! Sounds like we're going back to the Hitler era??

My brother has been in stage four cancer for two years now & is living independently in his own home, & works part time! He's 74 & we hope he has more time, but I guess the good ole doc here thinks his time is up!

  62.  @Raya-ir4tm  yes... I live in Canada & its unbelievable how they using & abusing this new MAID bill that passed, thanks to our athiest PM. This is where it leads too...euthanasia. Since they let go of large nunbers of nurses & doctors during Covid we are now in a major health care crisis ! MAID is being used to save them money now. Just let everyone die & that will cut back on the money & doctor & nurse shortages. They are encouraging all kinds of people to choose death now over life. Im not just talking about late stage cancer either. We have a homeless shelter near me & apparently they are encouraging these people to end their life. Most of them are just poor & need help with housing. Some need to go into a treatment center. None of them need to die young ! Shameful ! Where is this going to end ?!
