A very good friend of mine died last month, she was about to be 97. Her mother was taken advantage of while in service. She was partly brought up by her grandmother and then after a while her aunt. She became a registered nurse, and then a midwife. She was an amazing lady, she tested out knitting patterns and played scrabble with herself. She died a spinster. We met her over our mutual love for dogs. Betty, RIP, you were much loved 💕. Many have different starts to life, but make the most of it.
