@ЭЮЯ-о3к Nobody, is disputing that. You have rebutted a point that I did not make. The fact is Russua did a deal with Germany - 1939 Molotov Ribbentrop non-Agression Pact. Germany could start conquering parts of Europe, with the help of Russian oil. Meanwhile, Russia was free to invade Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, and Estonia.
Then afterwards, Germany turned on Russia. Only then, did Russia join the allied effort against Hitler. Before that, Russians were happy to carve up Europe, knowing that the Germans, would keep Britain and France, busy. Stalin, never expected France to fall so quickly.
This is not new information or secret information. Look it up, if you don't believe me.
