@katiefountain2407 So, has anyone been charged over this incident, with making a false report or wasting police time? If so, let me know if/when it happens.

I'm surprised that within 5 minutes there weren't 5 towtruck operators already there, arguing about who arrived first.

Many people report electronic and mechanical failures, during UFO encounters. I'm not saying that's definitely what happened here. It's interesting though that the police didn't want to say or show what was in the yard (I suspect the family would have waved away any privacy issues)... and took an hour to get there. Ultimately, if it's bs, as some comments here imply, they'll be charged with wasting police time. Let me know when that happens. It seemed to me, like the police were not annoyed with the family. Better still, try making a false report to police about a similar occurrence in your own backyard. Video what happens when the police arrive and discover it was bs. Then post it all on YouTube.

@jay21281 Who told you they did not record anything? Have we been allowed to see the police officers', body cam footage? We know the body cams were left on. PS: My first question was not rhetorical. I actually want to know, who exactly reported, that no one in the family, took pictures or recorded a video?
2
@jay21281 Real or prank, I have not committed myself, either way. What is definitely real are the contradictions and anomalies: Why no charges, after more than a month, with making a false report or wasting police time? Why can't we see the body cam footage? How long should it take for police (and related authorities) in the USA, to realise they have been pranked? If they are that stupid, why do taxpayers in that country, tolerate them holding such positions?
2
If such a publicised incident is bs, I'd expect people to be charged with making a false report or wasting police time. To date though, the police don't seem to be even slightly annoyed by this family.
2
If it's bs, on such a publicised event, the family will be charged with making a false report, or wasting police time. Has that actually happened?
2
@MrBadintentionss Have they been arrested for lodging a false report or wasting police time? Let me know when that happens. HINT: Don't hold your breath.
1
@MrBadintentionss You've avoided my question and are now, trying to deflect my attention. You failed. So, I'll repeat the question: Have they been arrested for lodging a false report or wasting police time?
1
@horrorfreak9653 ...and you know, for a fact, that they did not record it?
1
@MrBadintentionss 1. You haven't answered my question. 2. You have incorrectly assumed that I believe their story. I am interested in the many anomalies of this case. Your attempts to distract me have failed. So, I shall ask again: Have they been arrested, for lodging a false report or wasting police time? You see, "...it really makes me laugh..." that dumb American police and taxpayers, can be taken for such a ride.
1
@jay21281 In that case, they'll be arrested for lodging a false report or wasting police time. Let me knowhen that happens. It's already been over a month.

@johnny10grasp3 PS: Please let me know your thoughts, on the police justification for the redaction? I am not from the US, but it seems odd to me.
1
@johnny10grasp3 Why have my replies to you, disappeared? Did you receive them? The first contained the title of the video showing the unredacted part of the body cam footage. The second, contained the link. Please confirm if you got them, as I don't see them appearing in this thread.
1
@johnny10grasp3 I'll try again. The video is on YouTube. It's called, "UFO lands in Las Vegas? Why police who answered 911 calls were 'nervous' ". You'll see the body cam footage right up to when they reach the gate, to enter the backyard. Then they give a pathetic excuse for withholding the rest. I'll send the URL separately, in case it causes my reply to be removed again. So, don't wait for it. Search the title now.

@johnny10grasp3 PS: Please let me know when you receive it.
1
@johnny10grasp3 "That's as much as I can help you brother." That depends on your nationality. If you are a US citizen (I'm not), you could lodge a FOIA request for the report from the attending officers and for the body cam footage (if the family give their consent). It's concerning that this seems so ridiculous yet, after 5 weeks, no one has been charged with making a false report or wasting police time. I can't make such a request. I'm not a US citizen. I don't even live in the northern hemisphere.
1
@johnny10grasp3 According to you, they called on emergency services, when there was no emergency. If you feel it's entirely possibly to get away with such an act (especially one that is well publicised), then show me. Make a video of yourself, calling police with a similar claim. Be sure to record the reaction of police upon learning that it was a prank. Upload it to YouTube, so that we can all see there's no harm/problem with pranking police. Then there's another issue. It seems that everyone has wised up to the fact that this was bs... except the police. Why do American taxpayers employ such complete idiots, for law enforcement and emergency services? By now, I would have expected police to be reminded people about their limited resources and not bother them with crank calls and bogus emergencies. Is this happening in Navada? I can't find anything to suggest that it is.

@juve3030 Ten feet tall?
1
@michaelkneringer3194 This happened on the 1st of May. Are police in the US, always this slow to realise they've been duped. Are taxpayers, complaining? Let me know when they're finally charged. Hint: don't hold your breath.
1
@nomadbrad6391 It's only your assumption that there is no video. Were we allowed to see the body cam footage of what was in the yard? No. Furthermore, if this is a, "...complete BS story", why haven't these people been charged with filing a false report or wasting police time. Remember, this happened on May 1st. So, let me know if/when the charges are laid?
1
@castorkat4868 It's already been more than 5 weeks. How long does it take, law enforcement agencies in the USA, to realise they've been conned? I've never been there. Are all US public servants, so stupid? Taxpayers should complain. Hint: if you're waiting for them to be charged, don't hold your breath.

@CrainialCommando From a phone in another building or by moving further away. So, have they been charged yet, with making a false report or wasting police time? Please tell me if/when that happens. Did the police seem annoyed about this bs, when they had more important things to attend to? Better still, put it to the test. Make a false report about a similar thing happening in your back yard. Call the police. When they arrive, they'll realise that the report was bs. Be sure to record their and upload it to YouTube. Then you can prove to everyone how easy it was for this family to lie to the police, without the the latter getting annoyed. Don't forget to let me know when you've done it.
1
It is only your assumption that no video or photos were taken. Have we been shown the police , body cam footage of the backyard? Show me where said that no pictures were taken?
1
@katiefountain2407 "unfortunately people are never charged". When it's reported on TV. it's different. Those police didn't even seem slightly annoyed. Now show me your proof that this family are all, mentally ill?
