That's why Ukraine can't enter Russian territory. It's different for the Russian Volunteer Corp and the Legion of Freedom. They are Russians, and therefore, not invaders. Their country can't receive, Russian nuclear retaliation. Unfortunately, they are too few in number. Even if they combined with Wagner Group, they'd still be lacking an air force. CONCLUSION: Russia does not have to spread its forces out, thinly. It can concentrate ground forces, in Ukraine.

There are more and more Russians, happy to fight against Putin: Russian Volunteer Corp Wagner Group Chechen division Legion of Freedom. Even Russia's Chinese ally, wants big chunks of Russian territory. China knows that the longer this war goes on, the weaker Russia becomes.
