  1. Ultimately, we have no way of verifying information from China. For example, the Vice Chairman's statement referred to at 0:49, may reflect his genuine concerns of PLA short comings. Alternatively, it's disinformation to lull others into a false sense of security. I suspect that Chinese planning for any future conflict, currently puts more trust in cyber warfare and the manipulation of public information than traditional, military actions. It's certainly the cheaper option and they're not short of, low cost, cyber warriors.
