The port is not drawing enough business. Pakistan will therefore, not be able to repay its debt. Under the terms of the deal, in such a situation, China will take possession of the facility. It will then be able to convert it (or part of it) to a naval base. The same plan was successfully completed in Sri Lanka. The overall strategy, is to surround India.

@vanwong6768 Nobody ever believed that India would join the BRI, and make the port viable. China was a driving force behind this Indian rejection, by its constant, border provocation on the Himalayas. The plan was always to aquire, a potential naval facility. Nice try, Wumao.

@vanwong6768 "Only 70%...". That's an oxymoron. Do you actually read what you type? Wumaos are meant to write things in favour of China. Don't type too many more idiotic statements, otherwise they'll send you back to Wumao School, or put you on the list for organ donors.
