  1. As someone who got this recommended despite not being a German speaker, allow me to elabortate. Yes, German cities are very much ugly. When I went to Cologne, I was utterly disgusted and even insulted at what I saw. I live in an ugly city myself but this was on a whole other level of bad. And what the woman said is wrong - you can build both aesthetically pleasing and within budget.
