The tories borrowed 400 billion to so call pay for covid.they wasted something like 100 billion on such things as privatised track and trace which was an absolute waste(37 billion)then the vip lane dodgy contracts and dodgy ppe and the losses made on non existent companies. If you add to this the deliberate none pursuant of tax evasion and the cost of refusing to process asylum claimants imagine how much less the country would have needed to borrow.the country's infrastructure is an absolute mess because of the incompetence and corruption of the tories and yet people still voted 122 of them back in.
