Always been a fan of mick lynch and people like him .people forget that the unions and the union membership have fought hard for the working conditions (including pensions) that people now take for granted.these conditions have be😂en eroded over the years thanks to thatcher and her cronies but the unions should not be treated as the enemy as they have often been the only thing that has stopped the ever march too poverty for millions.

I believe in the mixed economy where the state owns the important things like transport,water energy, building houses,nhs,social care etc if the private sector can do a better job with the delivering of none essential services so be it.the whole infrastructure has been destroyed by the tory ideology so that a bus,train wil not run if they cant make a profit pushing everybody onto the crowded roads impacting on the ability of people getting to work and solution.lts no wonder that the economy has not grown because that is one example of how ideology has been placed before practicality (lf it moves privatise it and better still if it means money in the back pocket for a corrupt politician or donor).

If this increases above this I will begin to pay tax at 20%.why should I or any one on low income have to pay tax just so that the mega rich can buy another yacht. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining about my circumstances all I'm asking for is a fair and equitable system.

Those train drivers that you hate so much are the people that keep thousands of people safe on their journeys to work etc.l beleive that their pay is around 65k pa now I could be wrong.that pay reflects the responsibily of the job and is not massive compared to the salaries of say the bankers who have no such responsibility.also because of the freezing of tax allowances at least 40% of that increase will be lost in extra taxation.l am not a train driver so I have no vested interest other than seeing our transport system working properly.
