11:24 must be the money lmao

Matt I love it when you're outside of the comfort zone! Left drive in UK with "hand built" ferrari and shot syncros. Golden.

sooooo cool, but man not much of a looker under the hood huh?

The rub scares me... my 911 had rub like that and was taking off bits of tire. I wouldn't want to puncture or shred a tire mid corner. What level of concern is appropriate for the rub we heard in the video?
145
neat...but not $70k neat

Glad to see the e39 getting some love. When I bought mine, people couldn't give them away. Thankfully I kept it!
130
This gearbox is stressing me out
101
I think i've always preferred the driving experience of the e36 over the e46 even with a neutered s52
96
I like when Matt says Performante

Watching this one first.

Loving the drives Zack. I drove the new C63S (stock) at Road America last week and its clear that AMG has figured out how to make these cars handle. They still have way more torque than necessary to retain the personality so corner exits must be respected haha
51
He put the money in the right places. Brakes must be unreal. There's nothing like a torque converter in traffic so no shame there
46
I really hope these don't go up too fast. I want to add this to the garage but gonna need some time haha
45
"you would be shocked to learn" giggle

vobrasolo - None..that's why I'm asking what level of concern that should merit if any. Was not a negative comment at all. In fact this comment was a polite question posed to folks who have more knowledge. your snarky reply makes no sense.
42
It kills me that these have IMS... to avoid the loss of sleep I'm on the hunt for 09+ but the price jump is bananas and makes the 997.1 VERY appealing
40
Always seeing this on Jason's IG...so happy to see this in action. Such a little monster and the induction noise is BONKERS
40
Sharky gonna keep making great sales on gears so long as Porsche stays the same.
39
totally agree..its industrial and honest, but pretty surprising for a >$100k car to look like that under that beautiful hood
31
9:54 woahhh that was a little tight for this kind of event haha. Nice composure. Text Cody and nudge him to strap this to his purple car. This video is going to make him jelly
23
Nice driving Zack! This is a really intimidating car and you managed it and showed it the respect it deserves.
21
Just my CVT sentra...best car ever made
20
The Viggen is my benchmark for what I thought was fast about 10 years ago. I'll never forget how excited I was for 230ish HP haha. Keep this thing running!
18
much theater. much fun. lovin this car.
18
Couldn't shake it. Then he said it again =(
16
Welcome to the Club! I've got a fairly built Black '88. It's a blast. I need to find a set of 17's so i can fit some non-Fuzion rubber on my car. The steve wong chip makes a WORLD of difference. It pulls much harder to redline and feels much less lazy
16
Lol matt I'm right with you in not knowing a damn thing about this car. Glad this dude knows his stuff!
15
Smart speeds in that weather...#respectthedrive !
14
Damnit Matt...Stop making me like M4's
12
This dood's confidence in the scary sounds is delightful
10
Shot my buddy Nico's e36 m3 with 350k miles... S52s can really last
10
hahaha faaaair point.
10
Every day. I think I enjoy the dynamics of a cayman even more than a 911.. Once I'm cured of "But its not a 911 Syndrome" I will probably pull the trigger and add a mid engine car to the fleet. a 2009+ 987 S would be perfect. Plus money left over for a crazy exhaust
9
I'd expect it to be relaxing for the old folks instead of shifting like mad
7
honesty hour. good review matt
7
Omg this is so curb! lolllll
5
You are def right Sausage King of Chicago...just gotta wait a little longer =(
5
WOW. WOW. WOW! I saw it at GVBC and it blew my mind. Great drive in this video
5
LOL thats the ticket Steve (less weight!). My 911 got a couple little slices since there was some sharp fender getting in there..I managed to sort it out but its pretty frightening if you aren't positive that its cutting or not.
5
Very true. I fell into the rabbit hole a while back and then you start to see that even the ceramic LN engineering bearings can fail if they don't have a pressurized oiling system. Granted the rate of failure is super low so it starts to become a conspiracy theory lol
4
Sounds AMAZING and love that hes got 160k on the clock.
4
loving the gear ratios. seems a little shorter but not too short.
4
wow that red with gold gives it a very Alfa 4C style
4
Andre next to Matt in a miata...this is so wonderful!
3
I drive an E39 M5 which I love for long highway drives, but my mom's E90 M3 is soooo good at handling poor road surfaces in the corners. It may not have the torque but it is a lot more confident. -Tedward
3
car is amazing. really. but I don't know how to get passed that sound
3
Zach's intro nails it. I hate to admit how much I love these things.
3
could watch matt do LC all day. legit hilarious.
3
This is SOOOOO helpful. I have a 3.2 carrera with 85k on the clock. So glad this info exists and someday I may need this expertise.
