  3. A federal Europe will never work... There isn't enough what the ancient Greeks called "demos". Demos meaning the people have enough culture and tradition in common with one another for them to be able to accept and support a united political system. And we know that demos doesn't exist not only cos all the separatist movements in so many European countries, but also from how Greece was treated in the Euro crisis. If demos existed in Europe the richer countries (Germany, France, Finland, Netherlands, etc) would've transferred wealth to poorer regions (Greece, Italy, Portugal, Ireland), just like countries such as the UK and USA do. But the richer EU countries didn't bother. They kept their money for themselves, not the outsiders.
