  12. When Queen Elizabeth II recreated the Duke of York Dukedom her letters patent said Andrew can only pass it down the male line. As he only has two daughters the title will die with him until a king recreates it in future.

Charles has taken on the late Queen's staff and there's now one less adult in the family. So if William takes on Charles former staff William's existing staff have nowhere to go to. As Prince of Wales, Charles received the profits from the Duchy of Cornwall as a private income and he used that to privately support Harry financially until he moved to California. Andrew was supported financially by the Queen's private income and he'll now be dependent on Charles supporting him or else Andrew will need to get a job.

  29. Charles can't strip the title. Only an Act of Parliament can remove it. And so far Parliament has only removed a Dukedom if the Duke has been found guilty of treason

  31.  @자수정-m2n  they're talking about counsellors of state. There are five them and by rank they are: 1. Prince William, Prince of Wales 2. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex 3. Prince Andrew, Duke of York 4. Princess Beatrice of York 5. Queen Camilla Each of them can be deputised to fill in for the King and if an underage child became King they'd be asked to serve as regent in that order. Though Camilla will lose her place when Charles dies.

For example, when Queen Anne created the title Duke of Marlborough for John Churchill her Letters Patent gave permission for the title to pass down the female line. If she hadn't done that the title would be extinct
