@finsfan90 in WWII the Russians were receiving constant supplies from the UK and US, while in this war the Russians are under heavy sanctions. And that's a huge problem for them. Stalin's tactics in WWII amounted to having a bigger army than the Nazi's and throwing young poorly trained men and boys into the meat grinder. As long as the Nazi's died in greater number than Russians Stalin couldn't lose. Putin can't do that.

@kirbytucker2549 lol, yes. Unmanned aircraft and tanks are the future with infantry following behind.

@stevenjohns7017 the age of a nuke is irrelevant. As long as it goes boom it does the job. Some builders found a 250kg Nazi bomb from 1940 in my area and the army had to treat it with kid gloves cos it was still deadly.

@stevenjohns7017 you should get info from independent news sources. There are plenty on the ground

No, Stalin saw all those deaths as a victory. The public views these things differently when it's their family members being thrown into the meat grinder. Stalin retook Ukraine from the Nazi's with 2 million troops. Let's see Putin throw 2 million soldiers into Ukraine if he's so powerful.
