The centre stone of Stonehenge came from Scotland. You should've mentioned that

@ScotsmanGamer numbers of MPs are given based on population. Are you saying it's democratic to give a Scots voters vote more weight than the of a person from England, Wales or Northern Ireland?

The USA was always larger at its birth than you show here. Upon independence it took the 13 colonies plus unorganised land Britain from which several more states were formed. You should've included that land.

Mary was desperate to have an heir and suffered from a false pregnancy. Over a year after her pregnancy was announced but no baby appeared, she was mocked by rumours she'd given birth to a lap dog. Elizabeth I didn't marry cos marrying would've meant losing the throne in favour of her husband. The same thing happened to her sister Mary. Upon her marriage to Phillip II, he became King of England, outranked his wife, signed Bills into law and sat on the throne in Parliament. Had Mary given birth to a child, the marriage agreement required England to become part of Spain so Philip could rule Spain and England as one country. It wasn't until Queen Anne, over 100 years later, that a woman could become Queen without her husband taking the throne from her.

Actually little Britain is Brittany in France. The French were the first to call Britain, Great Britain in order to distinguish it from Brittany.

@JJaqn05 Scotland joined the Union peacefully and freely, and should be able to leave peacefully and freely. I hope they stay, but if they decide to leave, I wish them well. I don't want the UK becoming a copy of Spain or the USA, where citizens and their region are forced to remain part of the country through force of arms.

It's wrong to say William forced them to make him king. There were tough negotiations and Parliament only finally agreed to let him be king after he and Mary II agreed to sign the Bill of Rights and accept further limitations on their power. Had they not agreed, Parliament had the option to skip them and go to Anne

@kimwit1307 England isn't stopping Scotland from leaving. English MPs voted for the referendum in 2014.

@zacha4812 you don't even need to go as far back as the Vikings to see genocide in England. The Normans committed genocide against the Anglo-Saxons after 1066. The Normans segregated the Anglo-Saxons in much the same way whites segregated blacks in apartheid South Africa, but the Normans were much more successful in destroying their language and culture.

@accaciagame1706 the French have never invaded England. I think you're getting them confused with the Normans. And calling the Normans French is the same as calling the Irish English because they speak English.

That's like saying New York should reunite with Canada. It makes no sense.

@strongbrew9116 British was intended as a civic term from the start, same as Roman was in the Roman Empire.
