@felixmoyoedonmi The people of Niger are not particularly celebrating the fact that they're ruled by a Military Government. They're rather celebrating the disposal of a puppet president who clearly represented Western interests to the detriment of the people of Niger. It just so happens that the Military brought their wishes to fruition and they're no worse than a so-called "democratic government". I'm sure Nigerian people who are old enough to remember Babangida's rule are nostalgic about that era even though Nigeria has had Western controlled "democratic leaders" for many years already.

As long as Nigeria continues to take money from the West and remains a member of Western funded and controlled organisations like the UN, AU and ECOWAS, etc, then all her leaders will continue to be controlled externally. That's obvious with their implementation of Western policies/agenda in the country.
