  2.  @daveday9773  when it says leaving the NHS , they are simply going to a agency , not leaving the profession let's get real and honest, I'm a staff nurse ! But even on basic 22k with the 3/5k bonus depending on roles! is still above the national average wage in most areas of the country, by going to agency you hit staff nurse salary immediately, that's the reason!! Do I think pay could be slightly higher yes absolutely 👌 but if you are in the NHS and can't accept this well known truth, then I have to consider if I believe you really are in the profession, think how easy it would be for me to double my pay overnight on agency, but I consider my training I was given , I consider my pension I will receive that agency can never provide, and most importantly I think of the NHS , that needs dedicated regular staff that are committed not different faces on wards for a single shift causing dangers

  4.  @daveday9773  austerity 🙄 they are paid above inflation and we'll above the national average for most people, angencies create all the empty places in hospitals they also contribute to unsafe situation for all , but yes I'm wrong it's that austerity

  6.  @daveday9773  Dave I thought I was wrong? And no the problem is agency it holds the NHS to ransom for staff the NHS taught , it's a disgrace all round 👍 any sector you allow agencies into you simply apply more cost to the gov and more safety problems on wards

  7.  @daveday9773  the staff from overseas are a symptom of the problem not a solution to be celebrated, I can assure you like many NHS staff that stopping nurse and gp training places and bringing in agencies directly caused this , it's by design not by chance

  8.  @daveday9773  we didn't leave Dave , they don't train Brits hardly now we are a dying group , and those who simply want more money will continue to go on agency for more money I'm afraid if 30k isn't enough I manage on it fine , my patients come first before a slight pay rise by leaving a NHS contract for agency
