I am hopeful that these findings are correct. I follow a whole food plant based diet and trust nature to provide what we need to live healthy lives - but we need to make smart choices. That said, I find it a bit disturbing to find conflict of interest noted in Rahul's research paper listed under 2 since Rahul and his colleague own stock of a Vit D producing company and that Rahul is actually employed by a company that produces vit D. Hopefully there is no sinister intent and just an expression of vigorous passion for research. My question - Rahul made it sound as if there is an immediate connection between the intensity of UV rays and the death rate of Covid19 *on a daily basis*. Doesn't it take time for vit D to get activated and distributed in the body?
